Everything you need for private, sovereign communication. Try it yourself.
We designed this platform for communities, activists, developers, and independent thinkers — people who don’t want to be tracked, monetized, or censored. If other platforms compromise, we go the other way. If privacy matters, we build it in.
Now is the time to build your network.
In a world of centralized control and digital surveillance, creating a sovereign, secure communication space is no longer optional — it’s essential. Start building your private, encrypted network today.
Communicate without limits
Whether you’re running a community of 5 or 50,000 — our platform scales with you. Your messages, your rooms, your control.
Federated & future-proof
Deploy your own server or join an existing one. Matrix federation lets your conversations span across organizations, countries, and platforms — no single point of failure.
Real-time sync across all devices
Send, receive, and sync messages instantly across mobile, desktop, and web. Always secure, always encrypted.
Grow your trusted network
Bring in teammates, friends, or collaborators. Use secure invites, verify with keys, and expand your ecosystem without compromising privacy.
End-to-end encrypted and anonymized
Your conversations are protected by military-grade encryption. Not even we can see what you’re saying — and we don’t want to.
Intelligent activity dashboards
Track room engagement, message volume, server health, and federation links — without compromising on privacy. Insights that empower you.
Frequently asked questions
If you have anything else you want to ask, reach out to us.
Is this really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. All messages, calls, and media are end-to-end encrypted by default using the Matrix protocol’s Olm and Megolm cryptographic libraries.
Is the platform centralized?
No. It’s fully decentralized. You can join an existing server or run your own. Federation means no single company owns your data or controls your experience.
Can I use it on all my devices?
Absolutely. Our app works on iOS, Android, desktop, and web. Your conversations sync seamlessly across all your devices.
Can I host my own server?
Yes — that’s one of the core strengths of Matrix. You can deploy your own homeserver using Synapse or Dendrite easily with Efael's provided infrastructure via NixOS, and manage your own identity server if desired.
Can I use it with other platforms?
You can bridge Matrix with other tools like Slack, Discord, Telegram, IRC, and more. Our platform is open and interoperable.
Does it support groups and voice/video calls?
Yes. You can create public or private rooms, threads, and communities (Spaces), and start encrypted voice or video calls — one-on-one or in groups.
Is my data ever sold or tracked?
Never. Your data is encrypted and never shared or monetized. We don’t track usage behavior or embed third-party analytics.
Is it open source?
Yes. Both the Matrix protocol and our client/infra are open source. You can inspect, audit, or contribute to the code.
What’s the difference between Matrix and other messaging apps?
Unlike traditional messengers, Matrix is decentralized — there’s no central server controlling your conversations. It supports federation, so anyone can run their own server and still connect to others. Plus, everything is end-to-end encrypted, extensible, and open-source — no walled gardens, no surveillance capitalism.
